There Is Another Lion Who Roars

The battle is real. The enemy is real. And if you don’t think so, then open your eyes. We are living in a time when darkness is no longer lurking in the shadows—it is marching down Main Street, demanding acceptance. But just like in Exodus 1, when Pharaoh feared the Israelites rising up, the enemy’s greatest fear today is that the church will finally wake up and realize the power we have in Christ.

Pharaoh didn’t enslave the Israelites because they were weak—he enslaved them because he knew they were mighty. The only problem? The Israelites didn’t remember they were mighty. They had forgotten who they were. And when you forget who you are, you live like a slave in a land that was meant to be yours.

That’s the strategy of hell. Keep you ignorant. Keep you distracted. Keep you so beaten down by life’s burdens that you forget you were made to walk in victory. And some of you today—some of you have built strongholds for your own enemy. You have allowed the culture to tell you what to believe. You’ve let fear keep you silent. You’ve let comfort keep you complacent.

But let me remind you—you were not called to hide. You were not called to cower. You were called to stand. You were called to take ground, not retreat. You were called to be salt and light, to push back the darkness, to live with the authority of the risen Christ.

Yes, the enemy roars. (1 Peter 5:8) But there is another Lion who roars—the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! And when He roars, the enemy flees! So rise up, Church. Stand firm. Walk in the power of God, because you are not alone—the roar of the Father is behind you!
